Entre sus alumnos estaban Pattabhi Jois, el fundador de Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, y B.K.S. Iyengar que ha creado el m\u00e9todo Iyengar conocido por prestar mucha atenci\u00f3n al alineamiento en la postura y el uso de los props.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El termino Hatha hace referencia al yoga f\u00edsico en general. En pr\u00e1ctica si la clase se denomina Hatha es muy probable que sea una clase lenta y suave, y proporcionar\u00e1 una buena introducci\u00f3n a las posturas b\u00e1sicas de yoga.<\/span><\/p><h3><b><i>Iyengar<\/i><\/b><\/h3><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Basado en las ense\u00f1anzas del B.K.S. <strong>Iyengar<\/strong>, este tipo de yoga est\u00e1 muy relacionado con la alineaci\u00f3n corporal. En yoga, la palabra alineaci\u00f3n se usa para describir la forma precisa en que el cuerpo debe colocarse en cada postura para obtener los m\u00e1ximos beneficios y evitar lesiones. La pr\u00e1ctica de Iyengar generalmente enfatiza sostener posturas durante largos per\u00edodos de tiempo. Adem\u00e1s fomenta el uso de accesorios, como mantas, bloques, cinturones, columpios o sillas para facilitar la correcta ejecuci\u00f3n de las posturas a cada estudiante.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><h3><b>Ashtanga Yoga\u00a0<\/b><\/h3><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A pesar de que se puede encontrar clases guiadas de ashtanga yoga, la manera tradicional de ense\u00f1ar este tipo de yoga se llama mysore tal y como lo ense\u00f1aba su fundador Sri. K. Pattabhi Jois en la ciudad de Mysore al sur de la India. En estas clases cada practicante sigue su propia rutina respetando sus propias capacidades y aprendiendo la serie postura por postura a su propio ritmo. Todo bajo la supervisi\u00f3n del profesor que decide cuando el alumno est\u00e1 preparado para pasar a la siguiente postura.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El sistema de ashtanga yoga comprende tres grupos de secuencias: la primera serie, serie intermedia y las series avanzadas A, B, C y D.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Es de los tipos de yoga m\u00e1s ortodoxos que requiere un compromiso con la pr\u00e1ctica e invita a un trabajo interno donde el proceso mental de escuchar, respetar tus propias limitaciones, no apresurarse, domar el ego es a\u00fan m\u00e1s dif\u00edcil que la rigurosa pr\u00e1ctica f\u00edsica.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p>He tenido la suerte de practicar Ashtanga con magn\u00edficos profesores como <a href=\"http:\/\/yuliayogi.com\/en\/ty-landrum\/\">Ty Landrum<\/a> en Purple Valley (Goa, India) y Borja Romero en Madrid.<\/p><p><a href=\"https:\/\/yuliayogi.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/IMG_7942-2-450x600-1.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-1844 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/yuliayogi.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/IMG_7942-2-450x600-1.jpg\" alt=\"Diferentes Tipos o estilos de yoga - Yuliayogui\" width=\"450\" height=\"600\" srcset=\"https:\/\/yuliayogi.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/IMG_7942-2-450x600-1.jpg 450w, https:\/\/yuliayogi.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/IMG_7942-2-450x600-1-225x300.jpg 225w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px\" \/><\/a><\/p><h3><b>Vinyasa<\/b><\/h3><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El t\u00e9rmino <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Viny%C4%81sa\">Vinyasa<\/a> significa movimiento sincronizado con la respiraci\u00f3n. Tiende a ser un tipo de yoga m\u00e1s vigoroso y din\u00e1mico. Una clase de <strong>Vinyasa<\/strong> generalmente comenzar\u00e1 con una serie de Saludos al sol para calentar el cuerpo seguidos por unas secuencias originales de posturas que cambiaran de clase en clase en funci\u00f3n de cual sea el objetivo de la misma.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><h2><b>Rocket Yoga\u00a0<\/b><\/h2><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Un tipo de Yoga creado por <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Larry_Schultz\">Larry Schultz<\/a> en San Francisco durante la d\u00e9cada de los 80. Basado en el Ashtanga Yoga, no sigue su estructura sino que combina las posturas de la primera serie, intermedia y avanzada. Hace hincapi\u00e9 en las posturas invertidas y balances de brazos.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><h3><b><i>Jivamukti<\/i><\/b><\/h3><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Este tipo surgi\u00f3 de uno de los estudios de yoga m\u00e1s conocidos de Nueva York. Los fundadores de <a href=\"https:\/\/jivamuktiyoga.com\/\"><strong>Jivamukti<\/strong><\/a>, David Life y Sharon Gannon, se inspiraron en Ashtanga Yoga para crear su m\u00e9todo con un enfoque en ense\u00f1anzas espirituales, tan devaluadas en occidente.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">La clase de Jivamukti suele empezar con una charla que invita a los practicantes a reflexionar sobre un tema en concreto y sugiere la intenci\u00f3n de la pr\u00e1ctica. Y suele incluir canto de mantras. Es tambi\u00e9n conocido por ser pro-activo en la asistencia de las posturas por parte los profesores, que ajustan a los alumnos para ayudarles a profundizar m\u00e1s en el asana.<\/span><\/p><p><b><i><a href=\"https:\/\/yuliayogi.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/IMG_7934.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-768 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/yuliayogi.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/IMG_7934.jpg\" alt=\"Diferentes tipos de yoga - clases de Yuliayogi\" width=\"1191\" height=\"794\" srcset=\"https:\/\/yuliayogi.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/IMG_7934.jpg 1191w, https:\/\/yuliayogi.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/IMG_7934-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/yuliayogi.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/IMG_7934-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/yuliayogi.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/IMG_7934-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/yuliayogi.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/IMG_7934-700x467.jpg 700w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1191px) 100vw, 1191px\" \/><\/a><br \/><\/i><\/b><\/p><h3>\u00a0<\/h3><h3><em><strong>Yin<\/strong><\/em><\/h3><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En <strong>Yin Yoga<\/strong> no se trabaja con el m\u00fasculo, sino que tiene como objetivo acceder al tejido conjuntivo que envuelve las articulaciones. Son posturas del suelo que se mantienen durante varios minutos. Yin Yoga es el complemento perfecto para cualquier tipo de Yoga Yang (todos de los que hemos hablado antes). Ideal para crear espacio para un trabajo interno de observaci\u00f3n y escucha.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><h3><b><i>Kundalini\u00a0<\/i><\/b><\/h3><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El prop\u00f3sito de este tipo de Yoga es liberar energ\u00eda en la parte inferior del cuerpo y permitir que se mueva hacia arriba. Todas las pr\u00e1cticas de asanas hacen uso del control de la respiraci\u00f3n. Pero en <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Kundalini\">Kundalini<\/a><\/strong>, la exploraci\u00f3n de los efectos de la respiraci\u00f3n (tambi\u00e9n llamada prana, que significa energ\u00eda vital) en las posturas es esencial.<\/span><\/p><h3><b><i>Bikram\u00a0<\/i><\/b><\/h3><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Iniciado por <strong>Bikram<\/strong> Choudhury, este estilo se conoce m\u00e1s generalmente como Hot Yoga. Se practica en una sala con una temperatura de 95 a 100 grados, lo que permite aflojar los m\u00fasculos tensos y eliminar toxinas con el sudor. El m\u00e9todo Bikram es una serie de 26 posturas.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><h3><b><i>Anusara<\/i><\/b><\/h3><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Fundada en 1997 por John Friend, Anusara combina un fuerte \u00e9nfasis en la alineaci\u00f3n f\u00edsica con una filosof\u00eda positiva derivada del Tantra. La premisa de la filosof\u00eda es creer en la bondad intr\u00ednseca de todos los seres. Las clases de Anusara son generalmente accesibles para estudiantes de todos los niveles.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Aunque existen diferentes tipos de yoga, todos comparten la misma\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/yuliayogi.com\/en\/filosofia-yoga\/\">filosof\u00eda.<\/a>\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"background-color: var(--base-3); color: var(--contrast);\">Te invito a que pruebes los distintos estilos y descubras por t\u00ed mismo cu\u00e1l es el que mejor se ajusta a tu personalidad.
