Hi, I'm Yulia

I am a curious, inquisitive, sensitive, detail-oriented person with a sarcastic sense of humor and a sweet smile.

I love to travel and learn about new cultures, connect with people and taste dishes from different cuisines of the world.

My story with Yoga

I took my first yoga class when I was about 17 years old. I was hooked right away. The teacher was 70 years old and I was fascinated by what she was able to do with her body, but especially the mental clarity she had. I thought that if I wanted to reach that age in such good physical and mental shape I had to practice yoga on a regular basis :) and this is what I did for a few years.

However, when I moved to Spain in 2010, I had a hard time finding a good teacher. At that time it was not yet fashionable.

When I finally resumed classes again, I realized that yoga for me was much more than a hobby.

After long days at the office I was rushing to get to the last class of the day. When I didn't make it, I felt that my inner peace was disturbed. I felt trapped in a routine where yoga was the only oasis of tranquility and well-being.

For several years I was unhappy at work but didn't have the courage to push the dominoes and make it all change. Also, as much as I loved yoga and despite the fact that everyone around me considered it "my thing" I never imagined to dedicate myself to yoga professionally.

To all this, the regular yoga classes I was attending were no longer enough, I wanted to know more! There had to be something more than

those series of postures. So, driven by my innate curiosity, I started researching Hindu philosophy and mythology.

While on vacation in Bali I came across a studio that I loved: the teachers, the atmosphere, their way of sharing yoga... So I finally decided to take the plunge and signed up for the teacher training course at the Radiantly Alive school (Bali, Indonesia).

Since then I share my illusion, my experience and my knowledge by giving regular classes and workshops wherever I go.

My classes

I have always been a good hostess and I think this shows in my classes: I like people to feel cared for and at ease.

I offer dynamic and creative vinyasa yoga classes focusing on mobility and strength exercises.

Yoga is the journey to oneself. It really is. It may seem an ambiguous phrase, but for me Yoga is the best tool I have known so far to be better with myself and therefore with the world around me and my greatest desire is to share what I have learned with people who share my concerns and seek a fuller life.

Hi,

I am (Y)ulia. Yes, with a Y.

I AM

I am a curious, inquisitive, sensitive, detail-oriented person with a sarcastic sense of humor and a sweet smile.

I take things seriously... sometimes too seriously!

I love to travel and learn about new cultures, connect with people and taste dishes from around the world.

MY STORY

After making the decision to quit rhythmic gymnastics, a sport to which I dedicated my entire childhood, I started looking for a physical activity that would help me stay in shape.

That's when I took my first Hatha Yoga class. I was immediately hooked. The teacher was in her 70's and I was fascinated by what she was able to do with her body, and especially the mental clarity she had. I thought that if I wanted to reach that age in such good physical and mental shape I had to practice yoga on a regular basis.

When I moved to Spain, back in 2010, I had a hard time finding a good teacher. At that time it was not a very widespread discipline.

I resumed classes again and realized that yoga for me was much more than a hobby.

After the long days of work I was rushing to get to the last class. When I didn't make it, I felt my inner peace was disturbed. I felt trapped in a routine where yoga presented itself as an oasis of tranquility.

For several years I was unhappy at work but didn't have the courage to push the dominoes and make it all change. Also, as much as I loved yoga and despite the fact that everyone around me considered it "my thing" I never imagined to dedicate myself to yoga professionally.

All in all, the regular yoga classes I was attending were no longer enough, I wanted to know more! There had to be more to it than those series of postures. So, driven by my innate curiosity, I started to dig into Hindu philosophy and mythology, along with the lifestyle of the so-called "yogis".

While on vacation in Bali I found a studio that I loved: the teachers, the atmosphere, their way of sharing yoga... So I finally decided to take the plunge and signed up for the teacher training course at the Radiantly Alive school (Bali, Indonesia) that started that December.

Since then I share my illusion, my experience and my knowledge by giving regular classes and workshops wherever I go.

I have trained and attended workshops in Spain, Russia and Bali with teachers such as Dylan Werner, Acacia Jade, Carlos Tao, David Kyle, Simon Park (liquid flow). And I continue to learn every day from the hand of a great teacher like Borja Romero from Ashtanga Yoga Madrid.

MY CLASSES

I have always been a good hostess and I think this shows in my classes: I like people to feel cared for and at ease. I love it when my students describe my classes as elegant and aesthetically beautiful as I feel that defines my style.

LIVE YOGA

Yoga is the journey to oneself. Really. It may seem like an ambiguous phrase, but for me Yoga is the best tool I have known so far to connect with myself.

I LIVE MY LIFE

I learned that happiness lies in small moments and that enjoying them is the best way to live! I enjoy enormously: sharing laughter with my friends, walking barefoot on the beach, watching the sunset, spending long hours reading, cooking for people I love and above all teaching Yoga...

See you on or off the mat to continue getting to know each other!
